For future reference, the general rule of thumb, to ENSURE safety, is:
- Eat is BEFORE 2 hours have expired
- UNLESS the person eating is a child, or a senior, or has a compromised immune system. In which case they need to eat it before 1 hours has expired.
As for food that you wish to save for later, put it INTO the fridge AS SOON as you have eaten the meal. Or within 30 minutes, whichever comes first.
