Has Brexit broken the peace process in Ireland after 21 years?

    It has provided an excuse. However the strife there is gang-related and generational. Even with the Brits out of all of the island of Ireland it will still carry on regardless.

    No. There is no 'peace process' - the taigs lost. It was an intelligence war, and the authorities played it 'long'.

    The essential point of brexit was to get Europe to fight with each other in order to weaken our economies, funding and propaganda courtesy of Russia, China and American conservatives

    Looks like it and there's a certain irony that after all these years, old wounds are being opened again. It's perhaps typical that of all countries to be the stumbling block for Leaving, it has to be the N.Ireland/Eire situation, again.

      That was one of the reasons why Ireland joined when the UK did in the early 1970's. It was hoped that with the EU in charge of both countries, people on the island of Ireland would no longer feel so bossed around by the UK.
