Is making a tenant move out during exams for her final 2 months of college rude? Even though we told her she could stay till end of June.?
She has been a lovely tenant we don’t think it’s rude. I know she does suffer with anxiety would this make it worse?

Yes, it's rude. if you told her that she could stay until the end of June, you let her stay to the end of June.

kind of and especially if you already told her she could stay till the end of june

Why would you make her move at this critical time?

If you told her she had until the end of June, then it would be dishonorable, not to mention just plain mean, to not do what you said you'd do and allow her to keep her place until the end of June, as promised.

Working through exams and looking for somewhere to live simultaneously is going to cause stress for some people so theoretically, this can escalate someone's anxiety. Your intention may have been honorable in providing enough notification, but this does automatically equate to your tenant understanding the timing of your decision.

well imagine this
if you were told that you had 3 months to live and then you were told that the time has been reduce to 2 weeks , would you not be anxious, knowing that you have so much to do
common , you say that she is a lovely tennant so why are you cutting the lease short

Of course it is rude. Uncaring, even.
And of course this will make her anxiety worse.
You might even be the cause of her flunking her exams.
What is WRONG with you?

You told her the lease was through June.
There are very few places in the USA that will allow you to end the tenancy any earlier than May 31st at this point. And some instances will require the full 60 days notice.
At this point, it seems silly to move up the tenancy end date.
