Should I see my doctor about recent intermittent bleeding, despite already being on a colonoscopy waiting list?

Bleeding from the anus (bright not darker red streaks of blood on toilet paper) twice in the past week. I'm aged 36 and male.

Bright red is always very low down bleeding, anything else is digested and black. This could be a tear, a fissure or hemorrhoids in the anal region. Unfortunately it could also be anal cancer, so its probably a wise move to see your doc.

Yes, If he suspects a major problem, he can get you in for a 'scope a lot sooner.

NO, simply look closer at the foods you are eating...and in case you didn't know, there are certain food to avoid....at least 5....go to a health food store and ask about it.....

Bright red is almost always hemmerhoids. I have them. Look it up. It's not an emergency. Half of the western world and most pregnant women have them. Plenty of Meds in a pharmacy to shrink them.

If worried talk to your Doctor.
