Save your money for travel and set up costs. . A reasonable amount of $5,000-10,000 US should be enough for most. (About 3-6 months worth of your full time salary)

Apply to the Government of New Zealand fo a visa.

Wait and it may be approved. IF you have the required qualifications most are approved.

When you get your visa. you then make your way to New Zealand. Most go by plane but you can swim, row a boat ,ocean liner or other means of transport.

You present your documentation on arrival and the official will make final decision. Basically verifying the person in front of them matches the documented person.

You exit the office and move in somewhere. You are not handed a job at the exit, you are not handed the keys to a home. Main reason for that money you saved up.

New Zealand has a process that is easy to use and it is similar to that of many countries.

You can find most of the information you need from the Immigration department..

Do not worry New Zealanders are aware that you may have problems spelling the English language properly.

It is a good idea to visit first before deciding to move.

Helps if you have agriculture or construction/education experience. There is a shortage of workers in those areas of employment.

Simple . The waiting for the process to pass the various checks is the hard part. ?During that time save more money you will need it.
