Is Ohio slowly becoming a red state with the controversial heartbeat abortion bill?

I didn't know in Texas, a woman who has an abortion could get the death penalty, that's pretty scary. Why can't women's body be left with women's decision? What would happen if she was raped? How would that be her fault? I think a guy who forces himself onto a woman should be the one to be punished and not the other way around, doesn't make sense. I feel like America isn't the same anymore, there is no checks and balances anymore, we are moving far far to the right, nationalism like Russia.

It has been red for awhile. The statehouse is routinely controlled by down state conservatives, which is why all the districts are absurdly gerrymandered.

Color states is a worn out "meme." Cities and industrial districts, and black and non-Cuban Hispanic areas usually vote Democratic. Recently, upper middle class suburban areas have voted Democratic. The rest is Republican. In Ohio and the other 49 States. Ohio has tended to be socially conservative on matters of abortion, gender identity issues, capital punishment, and the like, particularly among black voters, blue collar whites, and the Republican bloc. Democrats of the working class variety in the industrial Midwest tend to be socially conservative while supporting Social Security, Medicare and what used to be known as New Deal style programs.

If a woman wants to take her own life that’s her right. But it’s not what we’re talking about. It’s the life of the child we’re talking about.

Not a liberals would decry a heartbeat bill as a move far far tight to fascism.

Yes, they want unwanted fetuses who will later need welfare which the Republicans will cut.

Nevermind that abortion is sanctioned by god in Numbers 5:11=31.

Republicans either want a theocratic Second Dark Age or human extinction from runaway global warming.
