The house is pretty much never empty for that amount of time, now. But when we were younger and went on family vacations, we would let all our neighbors know that we were gone, and usually have a friend as housesitter.

    Locks and an alarm.

Burglers would be very disappointed if they choose our house to run, not anything of value here. We like our stuff, but it's not worth anything.

    With magic potions and spells.
