What do you think about the upcoming Todd Phillips's film Joker staring Joaquin Phoenix as the Clown Prince of Crime?

'In 1981, a failed stand-up comedian, disregarded by his society, turns to a life of crime and chaos in Gotham City.'

How mundane.

Joker (2019) is being brought to you by the same director of Road Trip, Starsky & Hutch, Borat, The Hangover films and Due Date.

Once the first trailer comes out tomorrow 3 April, I would know what the film is really about. The only other detail I know about the film is that it is inspired by Scorsese's 1983 film The King of Comedy.

Some of the behind the scenes footage of Phoenix as Joker looks good, though.

Trailer is released. It actually does look good. Didn't realize that Robert De Niro (who was the lead in The King of Comedy) was in the film.
