Applying to a Caribbean med school advice?

Update:

I have a B.S. from Ohio State University in Molecular Genetics and I would like to apply to med school. For this cycle, I got denied by 5 medical schools with no interviews but I did get 2 secondary AMCAS secondary applications. I had a 3.32 GPA and a MCAT score of 511 (84th percentile). I did 50 volunteering hours at the local hospital.

Not a bad idea necessarily, but maybe if you do more volunteering hours or did some shadowing of your own doctor, you could improve your resume and application for next cycle
