General questions about oil paint clean up?

I'm new to painting and would love to try oil painting. I have the brushes, the paints, the canvas, and linseed oil. However, I'm confused: since linseed oil thins paint, do I also have to have a brush cleaner? Is linseed oil very flammable? If yes, how to I use it safetly?

I've read about oil paint for beginners and some articles are giving different information, so I'm confused.
