WHY would god want blind faith from his followers?
Christians go on and on about how god wants us to love and worship him, but he can't show himself because then it would no longer take faith to believe in him.
This seems beyond silly to me. Why does he care about faith at all? What use is blind faith? Blind faith is not a virtue.

He doesn't want blind belief. He wants us to seek him out for ourselves and know him through our own spiritual experiences with him. That's the way we learn, grow, and mature.

God does not want blind faith.

A saving faith is never blind, and science cannot get rid of God.
You will note that Jesus never commanded anyone to worship him, and even told some people to shut-up when they recognized his divinity. When people asked him to teach us how to pray, he recognized the Father, but never mentioned any recognition to himself. Yet, it is popular among some Christians to believe that all God wants from us is to recognize the divinity of Jesus.
Jesus never asks for blind faith. The vast majority of his teachings deal with being kind, loving, and enduring hardship. A strong case can be made that the reason why God made humans at all, was because he wants us to respond to adversity with goodness and love, and thus bring something to heaven that heaven cannot provide itself.

You are 20 centuries late perhaps. Jesus told Philip, "If you have seen me you have seen the Father.", John 14:9-11.

God already showed Himself. Jesus is God and He gave us the Bible. It's not "blind faith". It's believing the Bible, which is the absolute Word of God and is 100% true.
Jesus loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death

GOD IS CAPITALIZED AND WE ARE NOT BLIND...THE BLIND ARE THE ONES IN DENIAL OF GOD....WE FOUND GOD...WE KNOW HE IS REAL...HE IS IN CONTROL...NOT YOU...SO IF U WISH TO KNOW HIM U HAVE TO PRAY...THAT IS HOW IT WORKS..For Patriot it was a test of obedience and they failed it.

Why would God give humans a complex brain capable of questioning the nature of existence, yet forbid them from acquiring the knowledge to understand that existence, then place them in a garden where they can freely access that forbidden knowledge?
This experiment literally failed in a matter of days. And that's what Christians worship. It's just so idiotic and obviously fake.

no one ever went wrong by placing blind faith in the God of the Bible. Where they have gone wrong is placing blind faith in man.
