I was wondering if it’s possible to bring a Phalaenopsis orchid on the plane on the hand luggage. The plant fits in the hand luggage. Thanks?

Transporting living items such as plants is pretty much forbidden everywhere, even intra-state. There is a pretty good chance the orchid would not survive either. Those orchids are common, you could pick one up where ever you need to be.

Probably not but it depends where you're going. If you're landing in Cali forget it. A definite no if you're flying international. If you're flying domestic you might be able to but security might take it depending on how it's packed so be prepared to lose it. But orchids are extremely delicate and it may not survive the trip anyway.
