Not diabetic, accidentally pricked myself with insulin needle. Problems?

My dog is diabetic and needs 10 mL of insulin, I use disposable needles with caps and this morning after I gave him the insulin, as I was putting back on the cap to dispose of the needle, my finger slipped and I pricked my thumb, drawing blood. A totally

Clean prick. No actual insulin went in, but I was still wondering the dangers of what happened. My dog has all its shots, etc

A Normal Healthy Adult should be fine in this situation.

However if you feel out of the ordinary after you should talk to a doctor.

You may contract some infection that your dog has. Insulin isn't the problem, even if you take a full shot at most that may lead to temporary low blood sugar problems.

You will be fine. I doubt your dog has doggy AIDS.
