If you want a Jump game, the previous one (a.k.a J-Stars Victory Versus) is MUCH better than Jump Force in every aspect.
Jump Force has bigger roster, but most of them were coming from big series like Dragon Ball, One Piece, or Naruto (those 3 series already covers 1/3 of the roster), while the "less popular" ones only got 1-2 characters.
Despite the realistic graphics, it has a very bad implementation, mostly due to bad camera angles (due to the camera needs to keep up with the battle speed), and also overuse of motion blur (which can be nauseating for some people).
JVS has less roster, but it was more diverse compared with JF, and it includes lots of fan favorites characters that was absent in JF, like Gintoki, BoBoBo, to Koro-sensei and Medaka Kurokami. It also has different game mechanics, where JVS was more team-battle oriented with support characters, while JF was 1v1 with 3 characters.
The only downside of JVS was its an old game, and the online was prolly dead.
