what is The design of outdoor environments called?

Update:

For ex. designing anything outdoor and environmentally integrated, like playgrounds, outdoor sculptures, gardens, or even large projects for designing parks and environmental entertainment? If i wanted to recreate a large area of land out in the middle of nowhere to look like you are walking through a "NeverEnding story" movie, what career would that be called?

    Landscaping:

"Landscaping refers to any activity that modifies the visible features of an area of land, including:

    1) living elements, such as flora or fauna; or what is commonly called gardening, the art and craft of growing plants with a goal of creating a beauty within the landscape.

    2) natural elements such as landforms, terrain shape and elevation, or bodies of water; and

    3) abstract elements such as the weather and lighting conditions."

And I would add the integration of man-made art and and functional elements in aesthetically pleasing.
