What investment(s) do you have, that you need to do something before the closing bell?? I have 3 IRAs, one 401k, and a brokerage account. Rarely, if ever do I figure I need to do something before the closing bell. If I want to buy (or sell) a stock or a mutual fund, that's generally something I've set up the night before.

I try not to let the markets sway me during the day into doing something. In the stock market, doing nothing is quite frequently better than doing something.

Your question indicates you have no idea what your talking about AND you nothing about investing/trading.

Are you long or short ?

Are you trying to buy or sell ?

Are you trading odd lots/round lots?

Is the market up or down ?

Is your stock up or own ?
