Why not do both ?
I started investing in grade school, traded through both high school and college. After schooling and the military, I spent 40+ years on the Street,
so based on this, I offer the following.
You've been "trading" mostly in a bull market, what happens when the market turns - can you "make" money" in a down market ? I doubt it.. A good trader makes money in both up and down markets.
Its's always easier to quit when thing get difficult, but that's not how people become successful. Later in life you'll realize dropping out of school will be one of the dumbest things you ever done.
Don't be schmuck, and you don't have to be Jewish to be a Schmuck.
