Can a business tell an employee who they can walk with on their break if they dont tell all employees?

    Yes they can if that other person has been complaining of harassment from you.

    Unless it is a security or safety issue the employer should not care nor mandate this situation. I don't have all the specifics but this seems like another case of power through control and intimidation.

    Yes, certainly if it is a security thing. A lot of businesses the cashiers have to keep separate from certain other staff.

    No. If you are on break they have no say. Why would they care who you walk with?

    There is no requirement under the law to treat all employees equally and fairly as long as no federally-classified discrimination takes place.
