Why is the sun a circle?

Everyone is telling you that it's "because of gravity". And they're right, a sphere is the most stable shape when an object is held together by its gravity. In the case of the Sun it is totally made of gas and plasma meaning that the material can flow very freely.

Imagine if the Sun was any other shape: imagine if it was a cube. Gravity operates to pull all things towards the centre of the object. The eight vertices (corners) of the cube would be like eight huge mountains towering above the six faces of the cube. The distance from the centre of the cube to the centre point on one of the faces is much less than the distance out to the edge of the cube, and it's even further out to the vertex of the cube.

So as the Sun is gaseous material would tend to roll down these huge mountains, but wouldn't roll back up again. This would continue until the whole surface of the Sun was equidistant from the centre of the Sun. And such an object is defined by geometry as a sphere.

It's not a circle it's roughly spherical in shape. Like the Earth, it's not flat.

Because the government blocked out the rest of the shape with it's secret space filter.

Haven't you ever wondered why all the stars seem to stay in the same patterns? It's because they are painted there.

Don't let the government fool you

mass gravity, the forces which bond nuclei ( nuculeye for the english challenged) weak and strong gravitational forces derive,we believe, from the same primordial property/particle/force that sprung from the instant of creation, shortly before , or after.

suns result from accretion gathering of gases that swirl toil boil bubble and trouble, then commence to spin, faster & faster, held together by mass speed, then heat up hotter n hotter till they go FLAME ON, and burn for billions of years

It's not. It's a sphere... and because that is how God made it.

No, Jim. A sphere is not a circle. A circle is a 2 dimensional object, whereas a sphere is a 3 dimensional object.

The Sun's Gravity Pulls all its Mass towards the Centre

It is globe jut like any other major body larger than 200 miles diameter

Like Jupiter, Earth or our Moon

just about all celestial objects with diameters greater than 400 kilometers are pulled by their on gravities into approximately a sphere (not a circle, which is merely 2D)

It's not. It's a sphere (or close to it).

It's a sphere (like all massive bodies in space). It's because of gravity.
