Do you think that Prince Philip paid for his new Land rover, due to the free advertising they have been getting in the last few days.?

I like this conspiracy theory even better, its all a sales drive by a struggling car manufacturer.

The 'new' car was sent down from Balmoral. He already owns it, so no.

Balmoral , Windsor, or Buckingham Palace--the royals own a fleet of cars;royal cars are special ordered armor-plated editions not something that can be bought off of the lot so there is no way a new one was sent over next day. The Land Rover was sent over from the Royal Fleet.

It was one of several on the royal estates, no need to pay for a new one.

It wasn't a new one, specially bought after the accident, it was an existing new one sent from one of their OTHER estates. Oh how we in the other half live.

He might get it free, but I don't want one if a Kia can knock it over.

By appointment, supplier of demolition derby vehicles to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. That's got to be worth 100 Land Rovers.

When he smashes this one up, they'll already be another one waiting for him.

PAY for it? His missus is on the currency, what do YOU think?
