Since Jewish religious leaders wanted to kill Christ the first time will they want to kill him when he returns?

Jesus was indeed caught because of these Jewish leaders and he was tortured. And was resurructed.

It's safe to assume that when he returns they will face him with the same opposition and animosity.

When Jesus Christ returns this time, He will be returning with power, with the angels of heaven with Him...some of the Jews will accept Him as Savior.

Almost everything you think you know about Jesus Christ was invented by men.

Jesus was actually advocating for a Jewish state, although the land had been conquered and occupied by the Romans. He was brought up on charges of sedition, and his case was heard by King Herod, a Jew who was the puppet ruler of the Jews. Herod asked a jury of onlookers whether he should free Barabbas, a thief, or Jesus, someone opposed to Roman rule. The mob asked to release Barabbas, and Jesus was condemned. Presumably the mob was majority Jewish, as was Herod. But the Biblical record doesn't support the notion that the Jews wanted to kill Christ. Read the book noted below to get a better understanding of the political situation surrounding the crucifixion.

When Jesus returns the sky will roll up like a scroll as I recall the Bible saying. It will be an unmistakable thing. The whole earth will be moved at His presence, even the mountains. He comes in the clouds with His angels and His saints.

At this point, there will be no guesswork. His sacrifice was a one-time event, and when He returns again, it will be to rule. As I've heard said and is true.... He first came as a lamb, but He will be returning as a lion. When He returns, it will be with strength, and His Truth will no longer be trampled on - and the righteous will no longer be abused under the thumb of the unrighteous and the wicked.

It's going to be a bad time for Jews who haven't converted by the time he arrives.

If you read parts of the OT (i forget where rn), they wouldn't. Instead they would want the Antichrist to be killed.

  • Jesus Christ will return with the angels and destroy all the kingdoms of the earth so God's Kingdom can rule.

I highly doubt that Jewish leaders will want to kill Christ when he returns. Even if they don't recognize him, they will just think he is wrong; they won't think he should be killed for being wrong.

Even in New Testament times, Jewish leaders didn't normally kill people for being wrong. Their thinking was complicated by their uneasy relationship with their conquerors, the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire had certainly killed a lot of Jews for being insubordinate.
