Have you ever caught a Pike or Muskie using the figure 8 move next to the boat?

    Yes once. The problem is, once you stick that fish they are taking a BIG run. You have to be ready to let line out or they break it REAL quick.

    (AND yes, it was a BIG Northern Pike)

      We were in shock, all cast that way. Then a bonk on the side of the aluminum row boat. In the flashlight we saw an Otter. Do you know how large an Otter is ? That fish tried to eat that Otter. We defiantly saw a fish clearly, had to be a Muskie.

  • I saw it being done on a dolphin fish, right next to the boat, then it took off for a 30 minute fight.

    Yes: There are times just about any move will work. As for Muskie they are the fish of a thousand cast, and they do live up to that most the time!

    A few times. Nothing of any size for me however.

    No. I spearfish food fish and

    reel them in to drag ashore.

    Yes and also the figure 6 and figure 9. All three work extremely well if done correctly. Muskie is a tough

    fish to catch.
