Being suspended means you have a chance to return to school after you've completed their requirements.

Being expelled means you are gone and can NEVER return.

Something that is suspended is something that is holding on to something.

Expulsion is something that comes out from the input.

The time difference. A suspension could be for a week or a month. While being expelled means you're gone for good.

In school, one is temporary, usually lasting about a week, and the other is permanent.

"Suspended" means you return at the conclusion of the suspension.

    "Expelled" means you're done.
