Good answers here already. In short: sugar is sugar. But fruit has fiber, which slows the progress of sugar through your digestive system, so that more of it is absorbed slowly in your gut versus all hitting your bloodstream quickly and then taxing your liver.

Everything has sugar in it. Even things that say hasn't got any added sugar has got some source of sugar in. But fruit and vegetables are really nutritious for you. They're 2 of your 5 a day. You don't have to worry much about the calorie intake either. They're low in calories. They make up for a healthy diet

Sugar is good for you. If you're body didn't have any sugar in it you'd die instantly. But like anything, too much is also bad. So eating healthy amounts of fruit means eating healthy amounts of sugar..

Plus fruit is more than just sugar. It has vitamins and minerals that help your body in other ways. Much better than just spoonfulls of sugar.

Mix fruit with vegetables, meats and grains, perhaps even a little dairy all in appropriately sized portions and you have a healthy diet.

It’s not ideal for everybody necessarily but it’s not refined sugar. More of a complex carbohydrate. Fruit has lots of other good properties. Enzymes, minerals, bioflavonoids, flavones, fiber, anti-tumor properties, vitamins, polyphenols, etc,,,berries particularly good...but if it’s not organic, not as good
