My husband goes for his US Citizenship test in a week. Once he becomes a citizen of the US. He wants to apply for his dad to come?
And live in the US. His father is divorced from his mom and since remarried. Can his father bring his wife to live here as well?

If your husband can support them
If Dad and new wife are both young enough to work 10 years before they reach SS and Medicare age
Remember depending on the country bringing parents can take 12 years or more

He has to earn enough to support self, all dependents (including you), plus his father & stepmother. That's a fairly high income. If his father & stepmother cannot or will not work a minimum of 10 years in covered employment after arrival and before they turn 65 (so they will be covered by Medicare & Social Security), hubby has to guarantee their support for the rest of their lives and beyond (final expenses, funeral, burial/cremation, etc.). He will have to pay for their health insurance plus all deductibles, copays, etc. Nursing home, if that became necessary, currently can cost $10,000/month or more.
Mind you, it currently can take 12 years or more to bring in parents, if the petition is approved. So how old will they be then? Financially, it is often devastating, particularly if they have any health issues. Moving internationally is off-the-charts stress, and major medical incidents (heart attacks, strokes, etc.) as a result of such moves are not uncommon. Is hubby prepared to pay an $87,000 hospital bill for his father within 5 weeks of the man's arrival? (The son who brought in his father had not yet gotten any health insurance for Dad because he could not afford premiums of over $3000/month.) This has happened! And just once or twice.

Sure. But he will have to make enough money to support them so they do not become a public charge. Even if the step mom leaves his father he will still be responsible for supporting her. He will have to sign an agreement to that effect.

If your husband earns enough to sponsor both of them your FIL's new wife would be able to accompany him to the US.
