Depends on the Wal mart owners. Each owner is a francized owner. Not all Wal Marts have the same policy about how they run or are run. Also a policy about the agreement with the rental space, the lot owned by a company's agreement with them, local law enforcement. Overnight parking is allowed as long as Wal Mart has space to allow parking. During flux times such as Christmas, Thanksgiving etc., the lots are full and they need all their space. But again depends on the situation, the owner.

I frequently see people with motor homes and campers spend the night without an issue. In 24 years, I've never been called to Walmart for a parked car unless it was in a handicapped spot without a placard.
