Do you agree that all guns should be banned or atleast semi auto guns?

Guns are dangerous and can cause mass carnage the risk if carnage outweighs the unlikely event that you need them for defensive purposes such as home defense and self defense when these weapons are banned less carnage will occur therefore the law pf banning guns would be usefull just look at countries whp do ban them! And dont use the stupid they'd just use knife arguments knife cant kill people as easily and can be used for far less evil or pointlesd things than guns can!

Yes. All guns need banned. They cause nothing but violence, pain, and injuries to people.

When someone makes a statement that is not the truth, there is a word for it. It is called lying.

You invoked the word "risk", and when using that word it brings up statics and probability, making your entire premise completely false. Firearms, particularly semi-automatic firearms are used far more for actual protection and self-defense than they are for "carnage", by about 10,000 to 1.

You should go to a Cowboy Action Shooting event. Once you see what people can do with a regular single action revolver and lever rifle - you will stop worrying about semi-auto guns.

Fact is all guns really are dangerous. So are cars. We have Drivers Education in high schools to teach kids to drive without learning lessons the hard way. When there is an accident we blame the driver, not the car. Why don't we do that with guns? We used to have basic gun safety classes but those stopped in the late 1980's when schools became gun free zones. (we were told it would still be ok to hold the gun classes, but, once the law took effect none of the school system lawyers would allow them) Now kids learn about guns from games and movies - and they are NOT learning what they need. How are those gun free zones working out? Betcha half the problems in the US would go away if that law was repealed, and, the rest of the problem would go away once we had mandatory gun safety classes. Problem is the liberals - mandatory classes isn't a hot button to get elected like being a gun grabber.

There is a solution to gun crime. It worked for the first two millennia. Just liberals refuse to back up the bus and admit they were wrong decades ago. The blood - is on your hands...… not us gun owners now.

Henry Ford mis-marketed the automobile. He should have sold it as a method of killing people. More people are killed by vehicles (over 30,000 per year in the U.S.A.) than are killed intentionally by people (about 8,000) using firearms. Ignoring the facts, obviously gun banners care nothing about the deaths and only want CONTROL.

I am thinking that they need to ban automobiles with full auto transmissions, high capacity fuel tanks (over 10 pints), and suppressors (silencers or mufflers).

In Switzerland every adult male is required to have a gun. A military issue rifle. They keep it at home. The are trained to use it and have to practice on a regular basis. Yet they do not have the problems we do. Conclusion? It is not the guns, it is the culture. Our culture is sick and we need to work on that. Starting with better mental health care.
