Would an airplane be able to fly in Mars' atmosphere?

    airplanes have been designed that can fly on mars. missions to mars that include aircraft have been considered. i don't know if any will ever be sent there.

    there is at least some atmosphere there, though it is a lot thinner than ours, and the gravity is a lot less also, so yes you can make an airplane that flies there

    It's atmosphere is very thin, but the gravity is lower too. Hmm, maybe possible.

    Better go to Titan, which has a nice thick atmosphere, 1.4bar of pressure and also low gravity. You even don't need airplanes there. Strap on some wings and you can fly yourself over there.

  • Not a plane designed for Earth. The Martian atmospheric pressure is less than one per cent of Earth's.

    maybe no becayse,to fly an airplane airpressure is needed Nd as we know there is no atmosphere on Mars.
