There is no "best brand". If there was, that's all that anyone would buy.

If you want someone to recommend a reasonably-priced entry-level guitar that's easily obtainable, playable and of reasonable quality then you need to tell us where you live (no use recommending a guitar that's not available in your country), your budget and, most importantly, what type of guitar you want: electric, steel string acoustic or nylon string acoustic.

Epiphone or a squire properly set up

Great Guitars has some really good ones if you are on a budget. I personally don't think the brand matters but finding one with a slimmer neck helps when you are learning.
