Spiritually speaking: Why is it ingrained in people to make babies and continue their bloodline, what drives our sex drives?

I get that every species must multiply to survive but what drives that drive to multiply?

Natural selection drives our sex drive. Only organisms that reproduce will avoid extinction. Natural selection therefore has resulted in ways to trick some organisms to do things that help them survive and reproduce. Hormones in these organisms make them horny, and chemicals that reach the brain make animals feel good when they have sex. That encourages animals to have sex repeatedly so they can feel good. When a mother cares for her baby, the same chemical (oxytocin in mammals, and vasotocin in birds and reptiles) makes them feel good. If animals don't feel good taking care of their babies, then of course they are less likely to do so.

This earth is a school for us souls. The school needs to keep running. All the students need to keep reincarnating until they graduate - so people need to reproduce.
