I bought a new cell phone, and I thought I got a new phone number.
I eventually got a phone call from a man who I didn't know. I never gave him my cell phone number.
He thought I was someone else. I told him he got the wrong number, and then I hanged up. About a couple minutes later he calls me back, and then he said ____________ game me your number. I put a line in the previous sentence, for the guy's name which I don't remember his name.
I told the guy who I was speaking with to take the phone from the person who was giving out my number, and ask him questions.
I forgot to tell him that cell phones show phone numbers of a phone that is being used with a phone number, so all he had to do was take the guy's phone, and look, for HIS phone number on it.
I found out that the phone provider I am using doesn't give new phone numbers to their customers. After a customer cancels, or closes an account, then their phone number gets imputed into a computer, and then someone else can just take it, and use it.
I also learned that when a customer gets a phone number, then only 1 person can use it until that 1 person doesn't want it anymore.
