If you were against Obama using so many executive orders but are okay with Trump writing so many, what in your opinion is the difference?

What a lot of Americans did not know about how the treason-committing Congressional Republicans treated the democratically elected man-of-color President Obama from Inauguration night on through his two terms in office is described in the 2012 book by Robert Draper, "Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the U.S. House of Representatives." The behavior was unprecedented and totally appalling!

Our nation was in crises from GOP-deregulated 2005-2007 housing and credit markets' collapses, then the nearly fatal MELTDOWN of our entire GOP-deregulated financial system in 2007-2008, while we were also at war (unpaid for wars by the GOP) in Afghanistan and Iraq (an ILLEGAL war in Iraq that turned many of our traditional allies against us), more than 800,000 people were losing their jobs each month, millions of Americans had lost their homes, and Barack Obama inherited each of these messes plus an out-of-control deficit and the costs of both wars plus the GOP revenues-destroying two tax cuts (also not paid for) that were kept off the budget books by the Bush/Cheney administration (with help from the Congressional GOP) to the tune of $5.2 TRILLION not accounted for. While waiting for his January 20, 2009 Inauguration, President Elect Obama asked all of Congress to pass something that would restrict how the criminal-behaving bank CEOs and Wall Street could use the Bush/Cheney/Paulston $800 BILLION BAILOUT dollars, but the Congressional Republicans refused, so it was my state's Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) who sponsored a bill to limit the bailed-out banksters annual salaries to a "mere" $500,000 until each of them had paid us taxpayers back with interest, and it passed the Democrat-controlled House and Senate without even one Republican voting "aye" and got it ready for President Obama's signature as soon as he was sworn in. The night of the swearing in, however, many of the Congressional Republican Senators and Congressmen chose to meet in secret on Capital Hill at a meeting Draper (2012) describes as being hosted by the GOP spin doctor (propaganda specialist) Frank Luntz and the disgraced former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (funded by the Koch brother oil barons' network of anti-government billionaires) to PLOT AGAINST the man-of-color President Obama, each one TAKING AN OATH to DELIBERATELY BLOCK every legislation and every single nomination of Barack Obama, no matter how much merit!! Trump does not yet have this criminally partisan resistance to anything he does, but there were times when the actions that needed to be taken to protect the American people and our nation under President Obama REQUIRED the use of Executive Orders. The goal of the GOP treason was to ignore the will of the American people and, as Mitch McConnell (R-KY) told the Congressional Republicans, "limit President Obama to only one term." Each attendee of this hostile un-American meeting should be put on trial for committing TREASON DURING WAR TIME and for acting against the needs and interests of our nation in times of dangerous financial meltdown.

Trump is an ignorant lifts-wearing malignantly narcissistic xenophobic misogynistic vulgar sociopath who leans towards tyrants. The Executive Orders that violate our Constitution are being ruled invalid or else blocked by federal judges.

Obama never tried to amend the constitution by executive order.

Could you imagine if Obama tried to amend the 2nd amendment by executive order like Trump is trying to do with the 14th? Based entirely on his “interpretation” of it?

Some are legal orders some are not. Obama made at least one he admitted to be outside his power.

How come Obama had journalists thrown in jail and news papers shut down like progressive president wilson and lincoln did, but not Trump?

Im fine with executive orders as long as they aren’t used to try and take away my rights like Obama did with his executive order on guns.

Seems most of Obama's were for the common good whilst Trump's are for special interests with society picking up the tab for their ultimate cost.
