The FBI will only prevent the interstate trafficking of child pornography. Anything else on the net is either not illegal or not an FBI issue. Some local jurisdictions will sometimes get involved, but the problem is simply that even pornography is protected by the First Amendment to the US constitution.

If by "perverse" you meant "child porn" then the FBI gets involved when it crosses state lines or when there is a chance that an interstate human trafficking event has occurred. Ordinary run-of-the-mill "man & woman makin' whopee" isn't illegal.

I think some cases they make them public in the media and others simply don't. Besides the FBI itself has been found immersed in child pornography possession scandal recently that it makes one think of the reason why they don't publish too much as they should. Politicians are in part guilty of this because when the famous Pizza gate scandal became public they were ready to cover it. Bill Clinton, his friend Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew are usually linked to similar cases although with girls a little older but still underage and the democrat party stays mute and the liberal media throws sand over the scandal. May God help us with those institutions and may he take care of those children and older people forced people into prostitution.

If by "perverse" pornography you're talking about child pornography which is illegal, the FBI wouldn't likely get involved unless the child porn was being distributed across state lines. Any local activity like this can be handled by local authorities.

Perhaps you mean 'perverted', but there might be a case (though I wouldn't support it myself) for saying that ALL pornography is perverted.
