I need help i dont have a mic input on my computer and i only have one jack but i bought a adapter but when i plugg it in i dont hear nothin?

Without knowing _exactly_ what the make and model of the computer is, there is no simple answer.
Always give full details when asking technical questions...

You could just buy a cheap "USB sound card" from ebay, a unit that has microphone and headphone sockets.
