New England: MA, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME.

Northern New England: ME, NH, VT.

Southern New England: MA, RI, CT.

Midwest U.S.


Lower Midwest: IL, OH, MO, KS, NE, IN.

Upper Midwest: ND, MN, SD, IA, MI, WI.

Deep North: MN, ND, SD.

Northwest U.S.


Arctic: Alaska.

Northern Rockies: ID, MT, WY.

Northern Cascadia: Southeast Alaska, OR, WA.

    You seem to have forgotten that certain chunks of the country exist.

    Northeast, Mid Atlantic, DE...that you forgot to include.

      Technically Delaware is a southern state. Mid Atlantic is a sub region. Mid Atlantic is included from what the asker wrote.
