wow, that isn't a bad idea.. It probably won't make a dent in the deficit, but ever dollar helps.

The only problem is that the Republican Congress will probably spend it on pork,

rather than apply it to Social Security funds that they've been spending on pork for years.

Even if Speaker of the House Maxine Waters passed an impeachment resolution, why would Majority Leader Mitch McConnell even bring it to the floor of the Senate?

The best method to help balance the federal budget is to make EVERY political & politically related contribution taxed at 100%. If money is spend in attempt to influence government, it should do it's part to support it. If you contribute to DNC-100% ..an equal amount goes to the federal government..Same for the Heritage Foundation & a whole host of political organizations. many of which hide the fact that that is what they really are.

Yuk. But after discounting the poor, the young, the old, the unemployed and the incarcerated about 1 in 4 households actually pay taxes. That means each taxpaying household owes about $325,000 of the national debt and that is rising every year. When it reaches $500,000 we will not be able to pay the interest on our debt and we will become Venezuela.
