Are the following foods considered junk food?

Bacon

Eggs

Cheese

Lard

Chocolate

Dumplings

Rice pudding

Butter

    Not where I live.

    Keep in mind food of any sort had "nutritional value" to some extent. Some has more in the way of nutrition. We all need calories to survive how you get the calories and how your body uses the calories determines if the food is more of less healthy for you.

    Food itself is not healthy nor is it unhealthy. It is how much of the less healthy stuff we consume that determines how it might be classified.

    Butter is okay .. just not a lot of it.

    Lard is not really a food, but it is bad for you because it makes stuff you cook with it taste GOOD! I heard rice is supposed to be good for you, but I've only tried it once. Yuck! The rest are ok.
