Just because he doesn’t like people & dogs (is that Really a surprise?) doesn’t mean he won’t like your kitten.
I would bring the kitten to the living room. Let the kitten do whatever it wants. While you pet your cat. One or both will eventually notice each other & approach the other.
My older cat was surprisingly patient, when I brought home a kitten, someone threw in my friends trash. They ended up being best buds & the kitten got my fat, older cat, some much needed exercise!
Don’t leave them alone together, since you’re not sure, what will happen.
✅I just saw all your updates... if you’re not going to keep him, Don’t introduce them!
I don’t know if your old cat is up to date on his shots, but you don’t want him giving the kitten anything.
Fyi, if you get your older cat fixed, it might be ok staying indoors.
I’ve never had an outdoor cat, but I know that when male dogs are fixed, they don’t take off, like they did before they were fixed.
