How much cash is normal to throw down on lottery tickets for a week??

I spend about 25 a week on tickets—Is that OK or normal??

I'd say that was too much. The lottery is a tax on people who don't understand the laws of probability.

I say my average spend is about $50 a week, but the most I spent was around $80 a week.

I don't know how much money you have, how would I know if it's OK?

Some people can afford to gamble $100 a month on a game with terrible odds. If you can, knock yourself out.

That is more than most people spend on it, in my opinion.
