Modeling is VERY tough to get into. A known agency like Ford, Elite or IMG receives over 50,000 submissions a year from wannabe models but they will only sign on 10-15 new models per year. That's how tough it is. Even if you have the right height and measurements, if you look like models they already have on their books, they won't sign you. If you aren't photogenic enough for you, they won't sign you. If models who look like you aren't booking many jobs, they won't sign you
A friend of mine is 5'11" with perfect model measurements and she looks like a young Uma Thurman. Everyone who meets her tells her she should be a model but she's applied to agencies in NY, LA and Miami and has not been signed. She's attended open calls and model searches by legitimate agencies and has never been picked. She had a scout who works with some top agencies bring her to Europe to introduce her to agencies in Paris and Milan but she didn't get signed there either. Nobody can say why she didn't get picked, they all say she's beautiful but they just aren't interested in her
You have a better chance of getting into Harvard Law School or Stanford Medical School than getting into an agency based on the number of applicants vs the number admitted.
But someone needs to be one of those 10 models who get signed by an agency each year so all you can do is try by submitting your pictures and seeing what happens.
