The best answer is that you don't.
No other trade has the embedded dangers running through it like the job of an electrician. If you don't know EXACTLY what you're doing, YOU ARE going to burn your house down. Guaranteed.
I am an experienced craftsman. I can do most carpentry work from framing to finishing. I can even build furniture. I can do just about anything with plumbing. From sweating pipe, to installing a water heater or a sprinkler system. I can fix almost anything on a car. I have fixed my dish washer, clothes washer, clothes dryer, etc. I can fix just about anything on a computer. From a Mac, to a PC, to a Linux system.
I am a VERY handy man, needless to say, but I WILL NEVER ATTEMPT TO RUN WIRE IN A HOUSE. Because that requires a body of knowledge that comes from YEARS of study and experience. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RUN NEW WIRE THROUGH YOUR HOUSE. You have been warned.
