Why should anonymous users be allowed to give themselves a thumb up?

They can't face the other users and show they can only award themselves. Doesn't it seem very low life to do that?

I don't think they should be able to. It should only be other users.

It shouldn't matter. Being anon doesn't mean a question or answer is of lower quality. People can always vote for themselves. After all, if you don't like you (or your posts), why should anyone else? People post anon for various reasons (not just to troll). TDs or TUs of other users don't affect you, so why care? They only make a (tiny) difference if an answer is awarded BA (in which case it might get an extra point or few, depending on how many TUs it has vs TDs).

Everyone is Allowed to Give them Self's a Thumbs up and Nobody can see who Presses the Button Specifically so its Impossible to know if someone Personally Pressed it

Everyone can thumb up OR DOWN their own answer, but ONLY ONE TIME. A second time CANCELS the first time. Thumb ups and downs are reversible. The only time you get POINTS for thumb ups is IF the answer is CHOSEN best answer. Any thumb downs cancel an equal number of thumb ups. Thumb ups are sarcastic thumb ups. Yahoo used to suspend email accounts for misusing that feature because it is targeted harassment.

Reporting IS working. That was part of the maintenance on Thursday.

This site is just a place to kill some time on. Don't get emotionally invested in it. You will just end up ranting and raving and getting suspended. Don't take YA seriously.
