If you have come to the conclusion that you should be more One With Your Faith, then it seems like little should get in your way of that. If you're only losing your relationships w/ these people, then I would think it would be okay - after all, you can always find people to be in your life, whether they share your faith or not.
But if you're worried about having a place to live or something - if it is that potentially critical of a balance that is going to be disrupted, then I would get myself in a position to where I don't have to worry about my domicile or where my next meal is coming from [that sort of thing]. In the meantime, some people can be all about Jesus w/o it being in-your-face about it. So if you're worried it is going to come off like that and that such will upset said people, trying inching your way there, instead of sprinting your way there. That way by the time you go full-on Jesus, you don't have to worry about he repercussions to your living situation and you can be true to your faith, or whatever.
I hope someone has a good answer if this didn't help; good luck.
