Dangers of sexy online chat?

Just wondering if I can jeopardize myself by sexy online chat with another adult. So say I am in a chat room. I try to make sure I am chatting only with adults. If I have any doubts I ask the persons on the other end their ages. If they refuse to answer or say anything under 18 I terminate the chat immediately. In any event I have no intention of meeting anyone in person. So just wondering if there are any issues?

That's the proper way to go about it, BUT, you still don't any idea how old the other person really is, unless you see them on cam. So please be very careful, and be aware of that risk.

People can lie about stuff online. Kids often pretend to be older, adults often pretend to be younger, so just be careful what you say and to whom. Especially if you are a guy.
