Should I get my tonsils taken out if I get really bad tonsil stones frequently?

My opinion is No.
bcz.. the reason for your bad tonsil stones is not your tonsils.
if you do so then with in some time you will have kidney stones.
and sooner you will get gall bladder stones.
you will also get swollen lever, swollen spleen, and some more...
So will you also remove the other organs? ask yourself.
God has provided all the organs in our body for our own good.
These chemical drug dispensing doctors do not know the importance
of the human body and its organs. They also do not know how the
human body and its system works. In the name of treatment they
try to inject you with chemical drugs in the name of medicine. and
when they run out of the options they will suggest surgically remove
the organs as they do not know how to treat properly.
However there are also good doctors in the world who really care for
their patient and give good advise and help them.
Surgery is also required very rarely in case of physical damage to the
body like accidents etc., only then it has to be used.
It is common that at your age these problems arise in most of the people.
It is up to you that, you can decide on your own.
If you want to do a simple home remedy, I can suggest you .
by using this simple home remedy you can overcome your tonsil stones problem
and you will be healthy for a very long period of time. try this if you wish.
Take one glass of hot water, squeeze a lemon in to it. Add organic sugar,
for sweetness, Also add a 1 gram of pink salt in to it and mix it well.
Now drink this hot water lemonade in the morning in an empty stomach.
do this for 48 days. that's all you need to do.
with in 7 days you will feel the effect, you will feel better.
and with in 15 days you will notice that the burning sensation
in your feet and eyes has reduced and gone. at the end of 48 days you
will be completely fine and you won't need any surgery.
By following this simple home remedy you will not loose anything.
there is no side effect, this will not cost you much, and it is easy.
Hope you will make smart decision.

If you don't know the function of your liver...would you let cut it out?
You really should be more interested in your body. The tonsils belong to the analysing mechanism of the body. If you have stones often, it means that your immune system is weak and not prepared for the bacteria they are analysing.
Power up your immune system by taking vitamin D3 in high dose, eat selfmade sauerkraut, do GAPS diet.

I had frequent bouts of tonsillitis and tonsil stones when I was going through puberty. Since high school though I've had neither since so I'm glad I didn't have a tonsillectomy.
You can treat most tonsil stones at home by gargling warm saline (home made) and using a soft-bristled brush or cotton swab to gently remove the stones. You can also dilute white vinegar with water and gargle as this will also help to loosen the stones.
You should consult your health care provider as they may be an underlying condition and perhaps a tonsillectomy is best for your.

I just went to the doctor so he could check my tonsils, I have tonsil stones too, he said its really best to get them taken out if they really bother you to the point where it affects your day to day life. He told me to just gargle salt water and remove the stones.

Sounds like there's something wrong there. Weigh the advantages and disadvantages of the situation with a doctor's help.
