When my father died I had an experience that I could only define as if he were watching over me... leading me.... giving me peace.
It was as if he was with me MORE after his death than before it.
Now - many years later - I can look back to that experience and tell you with no uncertainty, that God Himself stepped in to become a Father to me, when I lost my biological father. And He has been a Father to me ever since.
When you prayed to you mother, God heard you I believe. He knows your heart aches for her. God has described Himself as 'a mother hen longing to gather her chics under her wings' and as a 'momma bear robbed of her cubs'. God is not male or female - rather He is the fullness of maleness and femaleness (Gen.1.27).
When you pray, pray to our Father in heaven. If your mother is there with Him, she will know very well that you are safe under HIs care and would have, long ago, turned the reigns of parenthood over to Him.
