If it runs well, then why not. It is not like it is going to depreciate much anymore.
So long as fuel is available for it then it is worthwhile having.
. I buy my used cars when they are(well now it is about 35 years old) and then drive them for another 10. My 1955 Chev Belair was about the oldest I had in 95 so 40 years old.
. Had I hung onto that car it would be worth 10K easy. It is one of those cars that people collect.
. Some other cars will never become a collector car. It is hit and miss with collectors.
. Some cars never lose their sex appeal. And some never had sex appeal EVER.
You have kept your sexual components(penis, or breasts or vagina) because it has served you well and you plan to use it again, right? You did not lop them off and toss in the waste bin because they were too old because they are not causing you any major problems.
. Just because newer and younger are out there does not mean you hang up your tools of the trade and look for the long nap underground, or does it?
. If it gets you around, who cares about the date. You are steps ahead of those who cannot drive or afford a car...or hope to ever insure it.
You know private selling it from a newspaper classified ad is going to get you the best and yet it is not much in the way of $. It is such a hassle. And yet driving to scrap yard is not the answer either.
It is YOUR garden. YOU got to make the decisions.
. In 20 years I may make it to 50,000 miles on the car. On a car that usually lasts 250,000.
I drive it so little now. But it is nice to have when it is raining out or -30C and you have to go someplace.
