Which one?

2018 Ford F-350 Super Duty Lariat with a power stroke

or

2018 Ram 3500 Laramie with a Cummins.

All single rear wheel, no dually. Which would you choose?

Always go with the Cummins. I have two old first-gen Cummins Dodges, and I am always meeting guys who say, "I had one of those and like an idiot I SOLD it!"

I think it depends on your intended use of the vehicle. If you’re looking for a brute work truck buy a Ford. If you’re looking for a heavy hauler, buy the Dodge. If you’re just buying a large street truck it doesn’t matter, choose the one you like that offers the best value.

Are you towing something or just buying a giant truck? Depending on the variables ... transmission, axle ratio, wheel base/cab size .... the RAM will out-tow the Ford. So if I had something heavy to tow, I would go with the RAM.

I pick the Ram. Ford has not sold me on aluminum yet.
