Is healthcare transparency important to you - Do you want to know what services costs before you agree to them or pay for them?

    If we are going to have to pay at least a percentage of the costs then we should get at least a baseline estimate before agreeing.

    Yes, I want to know up front how much anything costs (healthcare, car insurance, home insurance, etc.). Would you buy a car without knowing how much it costs?

    It would be good to know at some point.

    e.g. I had to choose between going home from the hospital or spending another week. No one had told me how much it was going to cost.

    Not really. Knowing will not change anything. You either pay them or die.
