I grew up listening to Motown music, the Temptations, Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye, the Jackson 5., Whitney, Lionel, etc.. All the groups were awesome. And the Stones, the Who, and all the 80 and 90's music too. It's all I listened to on the radio now. Remember radio? LOL! X gens and Millenials have only a few musical talents. Where is their generation's Elvis, MJ, Madonna, Queen, Beatles? Where are their gold and platinum album winners? When you won a Grammy back in the day, you beat out some awesome bands! It was really an honor. Now, I don't know who the heck these bands are. Heck, I could throw together some people and win. I trace it back to the early 2000's when the government pulled the plug on teaching art, music and having gym or recess from the public school curriculum. that's when the kids got fat, lazy and stopped expressing themselves through music. I also think that's why teen suicide is on the rise. these kids can't express their pain and angst in art or music. so they cut, tattoo, take opiates and hang themselves. The future is a question mark dude.
